Like clockwork

I have resided in Raleigh for nearly six years now. In less than two weeks, my roommate and I will vacate our apartment. In less than one month, I will be traveling out of the country; when I return, I will take up residence 45 miles down the road (or so) in Rocky Mount.

It didn't really come as a surprise, then, that yesterday I received a summons to jury duty, starting July 13th.

Sigh. Time to apply for an excuse, and hope for the best...
