August Turak's Brother John

This is a grand essay, one of the best reflections on modern religious attitudes that I have read in a long, long time.

Brother John

I won't comment anymore on it, because I'd waste your time. Some comments on the author, however:

August Turak is founder of the local Self-Knowledge Symposium, which puts up fantastically interesting posters. Alas, I've never mustered the combination of will and time to attend. Makes me think sometimes that I've squandered much of these last five years in Raleigh!
