I don't understand fashion.
Anyone interested in helping me understand: please do.
On the upside, I've emailed it to my fiancée, wondering if she'd like a hat like that for our wedding. Needless to say, I'll be in the doghouse for a while.
I had some constructive things to discuss, but I wasted the day writing the final to my exam. I'll leave you to imagine what profundities are rattling around my noggin.

what do you mean you don't understand fashion? That is so lovely! I can just picture it in white and pink - the wedding version... ;-)
I would think a matching groom outfit could be a snorkeling diver's outfit to match. Bright green, preferably :-)
What I don't understand as well, is the fashion world's obsession with anorexic lightposts as models for beauty. Some of these runway models are simply grotesque looking.
And a lot of the shows are so ugly, I wouldn't mind if they were exotic or exaggerated, but now beauty is not a requirement for fashion anymore. Just put a lot of junk together and you are a top designer.

Yeah, since when are toothpicks the standard! I had some undergraduate classmates who thought that Cindy Crawford was the epitome of beauty. I have no idea why.

As in the photo, eh? :-)
Rich: There are some things that you are just better off not trying to understand.
I agree: ignorance is bliss.
(Maybe you meant this in a different sense, but I like my interpretation better. :-))
