How do they do it?

I browse a few blogs every day. Most of them write two or three entries a week; others write five or six entries a day. I ask myself, how do they do it? I barely have time for the one or two entries a week that I post. I'd love to write more, and I've had the ideas lately, but with a wife, a son, two jobs, and a transition to a new job... where will I find the time? Gentlemen (and ladies), I salute you.

Well, with a lot of people, it's clear how they get it done, example: I am a mom, hubby provides for everything, kids are in school most of the day, and I blog and blog, or, I am young, I am not studying, I am provided for, and I blog for hours...

Now some other profiles, it does make you wonder, I agree...

you know another thing that puzzles me is that sometimes I sit down to write a tiny post, it's just one little thing, and it takes me forever! how does that happen?

I've been trying to figure that one out, too :-) I'll sometimes tell my wife or son, "I'm almost done," and I honestly believe that I am. Half an hour later, I half to go apologize...

Well, you'll notice that a great many of my posts are just off-the cuff remarks or quotes copied from elsewhere.

And I'm a fast reader and typist.

Other times I write things when I have free time and post them later after reviewing them.

And other times I just waste that I should spend on other things to post. I spend my week in front of an internet-connected computer, so it can be a terrible distraction.

I think it helps that I don't have kids, only a dog, and that my fall-winter classes are over.
