All God's weird creatures

While walking through my back yard today, I spotted an odd-looking plant. My wife told me that it hurts to touch it. It reminded me of something my back-door neighbor said: after hurricane Katrina, a lot of strange weeds started growing that she's never seen before. As a reference, she has lived in that house for more than twenty years, and she and her husband used to be consummate gardeners.
