A misanthrope's opinion of Thanksgiving greetings
From a conversation between my wife and me:
We have to buy Christmas cards soon. Ah, what about Thanksgiving cards? Do you send those, too?Actually, this is an improvement. For much of my life, I would answer the greeting, Good morning! with the question, What's so good about it?
No, I hate everyone. I don't want to thank God for their existence.
