Kindle

I stumbled onto Amazon's Kindle somehow, and am surprised that I haven't seen it elsewhere on the web. Looks like a neat device. It's beyond my budget, but the features look appealing. I especially like the fact that it relies on a wireless network that the end user doesn't have to pay for, and that doesn't require hot spots in an airport, store, etc. I also like the ability to download major newspapers. One of the reviewers put it well: this device encourages bad habits, like reading one's morning newspaper without getting out of bed!
