How to relax on Christmas vacation

Don't prepare several lessons for an advanced class next semester, prepare solutions for the homework problems, translate a paper from Russian into English, worry about your contribution to a jointly authored proposal for a grant, or review the proof of a theorem that might lead to a new computational technique. Or, it might not—but you won't know until you see the results of a program running silently on the workstation at school.

Also, don't worry about your baby's health, your son's health, your wife's health, or your parents' health, to say nothing of your own character, while traveling quite a ways to visit your goddaughters, however briefly—who aregetting over some illnesses of their own.
